{Malibu Engagement Photographer} Amber & David

Amber and David began back in high school. David was the new boy at school from Hawaii and Amber had her eye on him! They went through the usual high school flirtation….”Hey, tell your friend I think he’s cute!”, hanging out through mutual friends, and chatting online. A little ways down the road, they’re relationship got the chance to bloom into “the real thing” and they’ve been inseperable ever since.

Fast forward a few years…they are on a vacation in Paris on one cold winter night…. and David get’s down on one knee and asks Amber to be his wife. (Yeah, that’s not romantic or anything…)

David made me laugh with his impression of Amber’s reaction, which was something like a high-pitched, drawn-out, “REEEEEAAAAALLYYY?!?!”

These two are so adorable…the kind of couple that makes everyone  else want to be in love! I couldn’t believe my luck photographing such a picture-perfect pair. For their session, we did a fun mix of casual and formal, with some props mixed in, to pull in their love of travel!!! Oh and of course, a couple of photos with their pretty little pup :)

And the icing on the cake would definitely be the lovely work of Miss Celeste of Celeste Styling and Artistry who had Amber looking absolutely flawless!!!

I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in June! My camera misses them already! ;)

The girl’s got style!!! One of my most favorite pictures I’ve EVER shot!!!!!! I couldn’t resist grabbing a shot with Amber’s gorgeous tattoo! “If you’re a bird, I’m a bird” ;)
